Weekend: We know that a weekend at La Closerie is always too short: between September and the end of June, we offer you the opportunity to extend the magic of your getaway with an arrival from Friday at 2pm and a late departure on Sunday, subject to availability.

To preserve this tranquility, parties and noise disturbances are not allowed.

Thank you for helping to maintain this serene atmosphere which makes a stay here so enjoyable.

A very discreet caretaker lives on the estate and keeps a watchful eye.

  1. I complete the booking form "Contact us", making sure to specify the House in which you wish to stay, the date of your stay, the number of people, your email address and your telephone number.
  2. La Closerie de Gigny checks availability and quickly sends me a quote.
  3. I approve the quote and receive the corresponding invoice.
  4. I am paying a 30% deposit by bank transfer; the balance will be due 35 days before my arrival.
  5. I receive a confirmation email with the welcome booklet, full of practical advice to prepare my stay with peace of mind.



Payments are made exclusively by bank transfer.

Booking conditions:


A 30% deposit is required for all reservations.


The reservation becomes effective upon receipt of the deposit.


The balance is due 35 days before the date of the stay.


Payment by bank transfer only.

CONTRACT:


Article 1 - Length of stay: The tenant who signs this contract concluded for a fixed term cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of the stay.


Article 2 - Conclusion of the Contract: The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount and a signed copy of the contract before the date indicated on the front. The tenant should keep a second copy. Under no circumstances may the rental agreed upon by the parties to this contract benefit, even partially, a third party, whether a natural or legal person, without the owner's written consent. Any breach of this clause may result in the immediate termination of the rental contract at the tenant's expense, with the rental proceeds remaining the property of the owner.


Article 3 - No right of withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific time.


Article 4 - Cancellation by the tenant: Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by registered letter.

                     

a) Cancellation before arrival:

  • Cancellation up to and including 35 days before the start of the stay: the deposit amount will be retained.
  • Cancellation between 34 and 20 days inclusive before the start of the stay: 50% of the rental amount and the amount of services directly related to the stay will be retained.
  • Cancellation between the 19th and 15th day inclusive before the start of the stay: 75% of the rental amount and the amount of services directly related to the stay will be retained.
  • Cancellation between the 14th and the day before or the day of arrival originally scheduled in the contract or no-show: no refund will be issued.


b) If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains due to the owner. No refund will be issued.


Article 5 - Cancellation by the owner: The owner will pay the tenant all sums paid, as well as compensation at least equal to that which the tenant would have paid if the cancellation had occurred due to the owner on that date.


Article 6 - Arrival: The tenant must arrive on the day and at the time indicated on this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.


Article 7 - Payment of the balance: The balance of the rental must be paid 35 days before arrival.


Article 8 - Security Deposit: Upon arrival, the owner will require a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the front of this contract. After a joint inventory has been completed at the end of the rental period, this deposit will be returned, less any costs for repairs if damage has been found.



In the event of early departure (before the time indicated on this contract) preventing the establishment of the inventory of fixtures on the day of departure of the tenant, the security deposit will be returned by the owner within a period not exceeding one week.


Article 9 - Use of the premises: The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the intended purpose of the premises.


Article 10 - Capacity: This contract is established for a maximum capacity of [number] people. If the number of tenants exceeds the maximum capacity, the owner may refuse to accept additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered to be at the client's initiative.

Article 11 - Acceptance of pets: This contract specifies whether or not the tenant may stay with a pet.

If this clause is not respected, the owner may refuse the stay: no refund will be issued. At the time of booking, the client must indicate the number of pets that will accompany them. If applicable, the description specifies any additional charges (pet fee, security deposit supplement, cleaning fee supplement, etc.).

Specific conditions for pets may be specified by the owner in house rules displayed in the accommodation.


Animals:

-Not authorized at the Templar House

-Authorized at Maison Marguerite under certain conditions

For the safety and comfort of all our guests and neighbors, category 1 and 2 dogs as well as American Bully XLs are not allowed at Maison Marguerite.

Other dogs are accepted only after our prior agreement, and a supplement of €30 per stay will be applied.

Article 12 - Insurance: The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by them. They are required to take out holiday insurance to cover these various risks.


Article 13 - Occupancy and security: The accommodation is exclusively reserved for the travelers listed on the reservation.

For security reasons, the entrance to the property is equipped with a video surveillance camera.

Any unauthorized presence on the property may result in the immediate cancellation of the stay, without refund, in accordance with the general rental conditions.


Cancellation Policy



Article 1 - Cancellation by the tenant: Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by registered letter.


a) Cancellation before arrival: the deposit remains with the owner. The owner may request the balance of the stay if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. If the tenant does not arrive within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes null and void, and the owner may make the property available to other renters. The deposit also remains with the owner, who will request payment of the remaining balance of the rental.


b) If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains due to the owner. No refund will be issued.
